Every year i go get the flu shot. however i always get high fever for 2 days afterwards and it interferes with work. is it still worth it to get?

Yes: Try taking Tylenol and/or Ibuprofen about four hours prior shot then on regular basis for 24-48hrs after. This may help prevent or reduce your post vaccination fever.
