Sounds fine: Masturbation should be harmless to the body as long as he or she does not use too much force or friction on his or her genitals. One should realize that the body has essentially the same response to masturbation as to sex for the purpose of reproduction. That means the body reacts just as it does during sexual intercourse, which, of course, has no harmful side effects on the body.

You're fine: Addictions to alcohol, cocaine, gambling, and maybe even stuff on your computer re-wire your brain. We are ALL hard-wired to seek out romantic love, or at least to fantasize intensely. If your enjoying yourself isn't causing you to miss appointments or otherwise disrupting your life, you're fine. In fact, being single has its plusses -- as does waiting for love until you're ready.
