No: Cancer is not contagious, so you can not pass it to those around you. However, there is some genetic influence from your parents but it is uncommon....90% of cancers being caused by a spontaneous accident of Nature.

No: Cancer is not an infectious disease. We all have a risk of developing cancer. Many cancers seem to develop for no apparent reason. However, certain risk factors are known to increase the chance that one or more of your cells will become abnormal and lead to cancer.
