Could be serious...: There is a nerve damage condition called Horner syndrome, characterized by miosis (a constricted pupil), ptosis (a weak, droopy eyelid), and anhidrosis (decreased sweating) on one side of the face. Some causes of Horner syndrome are considered medical emergencies. Thus, an evaluation at the Emergency Room is needed, if these symptoms recently or suddenly appeared.
