Strep infection: It's very unlikely that you would 'catch' the same germ that your friend had, which by the way is 'Strep' - the same germ that causes Strep throat. Especially true if your friend JUST FINISHED antibiotics for that -it should have killed anything there. My question is, did you have contact BEFOREHAND that might have resulted in you 'carrying' the Strep. If you're feeling fine, I wouldn't worry.
