We don't know: We know more what we don't know than what we know. We are pretty sure that cellulite has little to do with fat; that is why slim people can have it. It seems to have something to do with the breakdown of normal or production of abnormal connective tissue. There is also a genetic component. To lessen progression, try to live healthy- eat right, exercise and try massaging.

Cellulite control: Cellulite is a difficult cosmetic issue to deal with. Liposuction certainly does not help cellulite, in can make the appearance of cellulite worse. There are some new laser devices that can improve the appearance of cellulite - i personally don't have exoerience with them. Cellulite is probably related to a genetic trait for skin elasticity and support. Its a frustrating problem.
