Don't douche: Vaginal douching (which is what you probably mean by feminine wash) is unhealthy, unnecessary for hygiene, not effective against any infection or discharge, and potentially harmful. Vaginal odor with discharge usually is bacterial vaginosis, which is made worse by douching. Also, BV is associated with increased risk for STDs. See a doctor for diagnosis, treatment, and STD testing.
