Perhaps: Many transient illnesses can cause your symptoms including flu, strep throat, etc. It is not as likely that your symptoms are due to an STD but I would recommend you get tested for your peace of mind. (For example, the chance of a male contracting HIV from heterosexual intercourse is 1 in 2500 exposures according to the CDC)
