Irregular periods: Irregular periods can occur and can be normal. Brown blood is most likely old blood. Best to monitor your cycle over the next 2-3 months. If it continues to be irregular, or discharge persists, seek medical attention. If concerned for pregnancy, take an over the counter test. Also, consider alternate birth control method such as spermicides, birth control pills, etc.
