Recurrent UTI: There is not likely any surgery that will help. You may need a different antibiotic after sex. In order to know, your next UTI should be confirmed by a culture with sensitivity testing to see which antibiotics will work best. Also, recurrent UTI in women sometimes is related to certain contraceptives (cervical cap, diaphragm, spermicides). Ask for referral to an infectious diseases specialist.
