Yes: Avoid toxic dose. Not over 5000mg a day. Why take it? Terbinafine is given for a few DAYS for skin infections, 6 weeks for fungus fingernail, 12 weeks for fungus toenail. Seldom used over 3 months. Avoid XS alcohol, certainly not over 3 drinks a day. Do not take this med if you have any kind of active hepatitis. What is the indication for terbinafine? DETAILS MATTER
