Meet someone...: Meet someone nice, date a while, get engaged, meet the parents, get married,... and about that time, one will feel ready for sex. If wanting a baby, relax and start having sex once or twice a day during the fertile days. Of course, if a couple has sex every one or two days throughout the month, they don't have to think about fertile days.

A personal choice: The choice to have sex is a very personal one. For many people, a consequence of sex can be pregnancy (if your partner is the opposite sex as you) or STD's incl HIV. So part of being ready to have sex is being prepared to deal with a pregnancy, and minimizing your risk of STD's- the best way is in a committed monogamous trusting relationship with someone that you can communicate with around sex
