A member asked:

I am 1 and 1/2 weeks post laparoscopic hysterectomy and have achiness on the outside of both of my thighs. i've had it for a about 4 days. ?

Probably normal: The fact that it is on both sides is very reassuring. It is probably soreness from the positioning during surgery (while you were asleep). We put the legs up in stirrups and position them so we can perform this surgery, and the leg muscles may not be used to it. Try doing some gentle stretches and use a heating pad in those areas. NSAID pain relievers may help. It should be improving slowly.
