Yes: Even a mild anxiety disorder can do that. Anxious people are too aware of normal sensations a human experiences 24 hours a day. Normal people's brains filter out most normal sensations and only focus on abnormal sensations. For example, every living person has pulsations with heart beats. Most of us don't feel the normal pulsations. Same with normal intestinal flow that pushes our meals along.
