A member asked:

Can i swim when i have sore throat?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes, but...: Swimming while having a sore throat may make the throat more sore afterwards, if a person is ill. Also, there are usually other people at a swimming pool. If so, an ill person should avoid contact with them until he is not contagious anymore. Finally, a person can swim when he has a sore throat only if he already knows how to swim!
