Diet Changes?: Often, hemorrhoids and cramping are related to diet. Taking a fiber supplement such as Metamucil or Konsyl and avoiding constipation/diarrhea are most helpful. Be sure to drink 8 eight ounce glasses of water a day. Avoid straining. Add a stool softener like Miralax if needed.
