No need: But close followup with your doctor after treatment for several months is needed for possibility of relapse, although remote. Check the CDC travel medicine advice if you travel often, especially to Asia, vaccine is available, good luck

The best follow-up: is how you respond clinically and if Salmonella was found in your stools THREE NEGATIVE stools will be necessary to show recovery. The Widal test is a DIAGNOSTIC "TOOL" NOT a method for following up Treatment results!! Hope this helps! Dr z
