Monitor your foot: Monitor your foot for any signs of a bite, which are typically red and itchy. If you experience any pain, warmth, drainage or growing lesion in the area, you should see a medical professional. Otherwise, you should be okay.

Not to worry: Most domestic spiders are harmless....Look at your foot!! The bites of spiders are distinctive (see illustration) If redness or swelling occurs use local anti-septic and soak your foot... if extreme swelling/redness etc contact your PCP! Hope this helps! Dr Z
