Infection: Sounds like you might have an infection. Better see doctor for treatment before it gets worse

Finger is inflamed : 30y/o with moderate pain on tip of pinky finger, a bit red in color, warm to touch and sensitive to touch, don't recall hitting it anywhere? Finger is inflamed, most likely had an unnoticed tiny puncture wound while cleaning, working or playing. Warm soaks in epson salt/saline x 5-10 minutes twice daily for a day or two could help. Else see PCP in case of splint or Foreign Body/ antibiotics needed
