Menses: at 11 yrs, it sounds like she is getting her first period.
There can be stinging with bleeding and discomfort with cramping. She can take Tylenol or Advil for this (or Midol, Pamprin). If she develops pain on urination, or emesis, fevers, she should have a urine sample taken to the lab by the pedi MD to review.
