Not likely: I can't recall any patient who has been able to stop all pain meds - or in some cases, even cut back on them - thanks to a SCS. That's unrealistic. A SCS is ALWAYS an adjunctive therapy for pain control. It provides additional pain relief when meds aren't enough.
