A member asked:

How does one test for partial androgen insensitivity? is it something a doctor can easily create an order to be tested in labcorp/quest?

Just an idea: I may have been the one who had the idea. Androgen insensitivity ranges from XY males who look like females, through men with ambiguous genitalia or hypospadias, and probably to guys who just never become quite as masculinized as others. An endocrinologist can sort things out, but testing is specialized and since there's really no Rx, perhaps not useful. Best wishes; hope you get what you want.

Yes: Hormone levels such as DHT, DHEA, etc. can be sent off for testing. You may need a virtual appointment or an appointment with your doctor to see if this is appropriate.
