Trigger finger : Most likely you have above condition . It is inflamed part of tendon forming a nodule passing under ligament like structure. It hurts when trying to bend finger. Than once nodule jumps " triggers through pain ease up. " See your MD for possible steroid injection . use Ice in the meantime , anti inflammatory, gentle massage.
