The most likely: explanation is pressure or inflammation of the nerve that provides movement and feeling to the pinky finger. Pressure anywhere along the path of the nerve (neck, elbow or wrist most commonly) can cause it. Altho I always recommend a healthy diet, it's unlikely that a poor diet is causing this and unlikely that taking a multivitamin would fix it. Hope this helps. Dr. Anne
