Started class at a gym last week. tonight i got pressure chest pains on left side when working out. went away after sitting for a few. no swelling.

See a doctor: If the pain was dull and brought on by activity and stopped at rest you should see a doctor. If exercise or exertion brings it back on stop immediately and go to the emergency room.
