Yes and no: This is a chronic problem for which we do not have good treatments. So, in terms of taking treatment, it all depends on your symptoms. If the symptoms are tolerable, and you have made sure that your urine culture is negative for bacteria, then there is little reason to treat it because we have no good alternatives except for antibiotics which often stop working after repeated usage.
