Last year i was told i have an ovarian cyst and put on birth control to help it go away. i still have pelvic pain till this day. what do i do?

Get rechecked: A pelvic exam and/or ultrasound can tell if you still have a cyst or cysts (which are extremely common in the ovaries.) there are other reasons for pelvic pain as well which can be evaluated by your doctor. Good luck and hope you're feeling better soon.
