Would bv cause bleeding after masturbation?

STD?: Bacterial vaginosis (BV) usually doesn't cause bleeding. Vaginal bleeding can mean a cervical infection like gonorrhea or chlamydia -- and STDs are more common in women with BV. Masturbation could contribute if it involves a sex toy, like a vibrator or dildo bumping the cervix. (Bleeding after sex can do it for the same reason.) See your doctor and ask about STD testing.
