See a Dentist: Often times, when a patient has temperomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, it can give ringing in the ears. Your dentist can determine whether there are occlusal problems/grinding/clenching, he can make a night guard which will help the chewing muscles relax and loosen relieving joint/jaw pain and reduce the ringing in the ear. You may need to see a pain specialist at your local dental school.
