Ask him his wishes: There can be many causes and some are not serious - some could be. Ask him if he'd be willing to see a Dr and try to get him there if he does. He may know what's going on. Other symptoms will matter too. Have him drink water and get as comfortable as possible. If you're really worried, call someone close to help - even 911 if you are very isolated.

Most likely: Assuming no other pre existing medical conditions nor history of heavy alcohol consumption, the shakiness is most likely due to sudden shifts in the pH of the body due to losing acid through vomiting. Sudden shakiness can be associated with a fever coming on; check his temperature. Bottom line though is seek in-person medical treatment if not tolerating frequent small amounts of lukewarm fluids.
