Wash it well: Wash it out aggressively. Then get your tetanus shot up to date if you haven't had one in 5 years or more.

Cleanse pressure: Cleanse the wound and irrigate the wound optimally with normal saline but at least with soap and water or diluted hydrogen peroxide. Requires a tetanus shot if not up to date on tetanus vaccination. Pressure to the foot circumferentially should control bleeding. Seek follow up with primary care doctor puncture wounds should not be sutured shut..
