What can cause my false positive for cocaine?

Cocaine: That is very difficult to decide. It certainly can occur without reason and have no effect. Please have your doctor see you, get a sample, and then see what the laboratory finds. Quite unlikely to be a positive cocaine.

COCAINE: Drug tests generally produce false-positive results in 5% to 10% of cases and false negatives in 10% to 15% of cases, new research shows. BUT "cocaine is cocaine -- you don’t get many false positives or false negatives," says Petros Levounis, MD, director of the Addiction Institute of New York at St. Luke's and Roosevelt Hospital in New York City.http://www.webmd.com/news/20100528/drug-tests-often

Cocaine: Really nothing - there are no false positive tests on confirmation to the presence of cocaine.
