Anaphylaxis: A true med allergy is one that no matter the dose, a full blown shut down of all major systems in the body occurs. Skin rash/hives, difficulty breathing, CV Ominous arrhythmia, full blown kidney failure. Immediate intervention and supportive care required to prevent death. Sometimes a mild variation in reaction occurs, short of breath, a skipped heart beat, itchy rash that resolves w w/o help
