What is the definition or description of: loss of side vision?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Peripheral vision: Loss of side vision is the same as loss of peripheral vision. In other words, central "eye chart" vision is normal but there is a loss of peripheral vision due to either a retinal problem or a neurological problem. Retinal detachment, hereditary dystrophies or stroke are some causes of loss of side vision.
