See details: Mild cases may not require treatment. For the patients needing treatment, many of the meds used to treat osteoporosis will also treat pagets. I generally use Reclast (zoledronic acid) but there are other choices.

Not very much to: Start.Most people who have paget's disease of bone experience no symptoms. When symptoms do occur, the most common complaint is bone pain.
Pelvis. Paget's disease of bone in the pelvis can cause hip pain.Skull. An overgrowth of bone in the skull can cause hearing loss or headaches.

Which one: Paget's disease is a disorder that involves abnormal bone destruction and regrowth, which results in deformity.The cause of paget's disease is unknown, although it might have to do with genes or a viral infection early in life.
