Pain in the leg(s): Claudication is pain in the legs. Intermittent is not constant. It usually occurs after walking short distances. Walk = pain. Rest and the pain goes away. Walk and the pain returns. This indicates a blockage of the blood flow into the legs so when you need more blood / oxygen with walking or activity, you don't get it because of the blockage, hence the pain
