Real Rx: If topical benzoyl peroxide fails, your physician has a host of other medications, starting with a topical retinoic acid derivative and/or topical clindamycin. If it's on your trunk, you're likely to need a systemic antibiotic. For really rough cases, Accutane is worth considering. Being a teen is hard enough without the acne. Best wishes.
