Rapid breathing: Rapid breathing = Tachypnea .

Called tachypnea: doctors consider someone to have rapid breathing if their breathing is over 20 times a minutes. However, that has to be taken in context with everything else that is going on. Certainly, breathing over 30x per minute is cause for concern.
