Bothered by light: Light sensitivity or photophobia means when the bright light or sun bothers your eye. This can be from very dry eye with cornea surface issue, corneal scratch or ulcer, and eye inflammation from iritis. This happens due to iris spasm. Iris is like an aperture of camera open and close based on the light intensity.
