Coordination is the: ability to use different parts of the body together smoothly and efficiently. Poor coordination is when the parts are not working together properly. It may result in poor balance and impaired purposeful actions. Causes may include genetics, infections, injuries, toxins, effects of medical/neurological conditions, and side effects to medications. Medical/neurological evaluation is necessary.
