Waviness in images: Distorted vision often called metamorphopsia, is the perception of visual images having a wavy, slanted or irregularity that you know shouldn't appear that way. The causes usually are from irregularities on the inner lining of the eye called the retina, but may also arise from corneal opacities or dystrophies, cataracts, refractive errors, and dry eyes.
