Sleep pattern is off: A normal, healthy 4 year-old who has an odd sleep/wake cycle isn't always a problem, unless she is fussy during the daytime due to fatigue, falling asleep throughout the daylight hours, has frequent snoring, etc... She has no job hours or school hours, so she may be fine sleeping whenever she wants to. Sometimes, a visit to the pediatrician +/- referral to a pediatric sleep specialist is helpful.

Sleep pattern disrup: Your child needs 10 to 12 hours of sleep each day. Make sure you cut out naps, caffeine, and set a regular bedtime routine with bedtime close to 7:30pm or 8P.M. If she awakens in the middle of the night, escort her back to her bed ; do not allow lights on for quiet play and certainly do not allow tv viewing.
