What's the difference between nortrel 1/35-28 and desetta 1/35 i was recently switched from nortrel to desetta and would like to know why that be?

Different name: Chemically these are the same thing. Desetta is a the generic form. Most likely your insurance covered one and not the other. They are the same thing so use the cheaper one.
