Im on blisovi fe 1/20 on the placebo week but switching to nortrel 1/35, starting the new bc on this sunday when i need a new pack, will i still be protected during the switch? or should i wait to have period on new bc first for intercourse?

There will be no gap in protection. Since the new pill is slightly stronger you may notice a difference initially (e.g. mild nausea). Breakthrough bleeding is common in the first cycle when switching pills but that does not mean they are less effective.
