could cramps day before period is due and then no period on the day its due be an early sign of pregnancy?

See your dr: A late period with cramping could be a sign of pregnancy. Could be other causes (hormones, etc). Do a pregnancy test. If you want to be pregnant, you should be taking prenatal vitamins. If you don't want to be, talk with your doctor about birth control options.
