Unclear: The cause of this is unclear. Schedule a visit with an Obgyn who can test your vaginal discharge for infection. Bacterial vaginosis and trichomoniasis can sometimes have a sort of greenish appearance. Yeast when thick can some times appear slightly yellow/green
