A member asked:

Say i was pregnant and took a test at anytime of the month would it be an accurate result? (i would be 3 months and i haven't missed a period)

Yes: Hi! Yes, at 3 months, a woman is far enough along that a pregnancy test should be accurate, and the time of the month will not affect it. Hope this helps!

Should be: The available over the counter tests for pregnancy rely on detecting a hormone created by the stalk/mass of embryonic cells created by the early fetus. This can be at a low level very early on but by 3 months it would be at a consistent detectable amount. If you have had a couple periods since you were exposed you are unlikely to be pregnant.
