Very likely: Some Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) remains in your system up to 8 months after your last injection and it can affect your periods during this time. There is not enough of it to keep you from getting pregnant, of course, but you may notice menstrual irregularities during this time. Best wishes!

Probably: After being on depo-provera for some time, it can take up to a year for periods to become normal again. However pregnancy can occur so use another form of birth control if you really do not want to have a pregnancy.
