Possible obstruction: The bladder wall becomes thickened if it is working against resistance, such as scar tissue or narrowing of the urine channel, or in some neurological diseases. Bladder thickness is variable and it is sometimes not a problem. It can also be a tumor, but that is rare. Get a copy of the x-ray or ultrasound report that made the diagnosis and show it to your doctor or to a urologist.
