A member asked:

I have osteoporosis, saw a physio today about burning pain in middle of back, she said it was 'micro' something from my osteoporosis, any idea?i forgot!

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Osteoporosis: She might have been alluding to possible micro compression fracture of the vertebra as a complication of osteoporosis. Otherwise the midback discomfort could be muscular in origin. Osteoporosis in your age bracket is unusual unless you have been taking corticosteroids, have absorption or endocrine disorders, estrogen deficiency or lack adequate weight bearing exercise(?from Ehlers Danlos syndrome).
